after listening to Sharon's presentations i think we should come up with some criteria so we know why we are doing what we are doing.
the criteria i used in ass#2 were Ø Accuracy of the information provided by the resource in relation to the topic Ø Educational value of the resource in relation to the topic Ø Is the resource interesting and engaging for students Ø Can the resource be use independently by students

consideration of student needs/capabilities - special needs

Hey Kim and Fiona, maybe we could use accuracy of the information, and as an implication teaching - the fact that Pluto is no longer considered a planet -how will this change the way we teach and use the information for example in the video of the magic school bus Pluto is still considered a planet.
Other critieria -enhancement of student learning is it engaging for the students, is it age appropriate and user friendly and what about the possibility of it addressing the curriculum area?
